It's that time of the year where everybody is on vacation mode, traveling and enjoying the hot season. In fashion, end of July and August rhymes with sale season and Fall new arrivals. We can see sales from 30% up to 70% depending on brands, and it is the perfect time to stock on things we're missing for vacation like shorts and summer tops, or classics like jeans, tees, cashmere sweaters and sneakers. It is also the best time to splurge on something pricier, like a handbag, or these pairs of shoes we're missing in our collection, or leather jackets and transitional coats, as we are looking ahead for fall. I always use sale season to buy what I'm missing or things I saw during the season that I thought were too expensive or things I don't need but just want.
What I do with some of my clients I've been dressing for many years is that I search the web for items I know they will love, that are on sale. For example, I know that Tina will love some of these little Zimmermann dresses on sale for her Florida home. I also know that Nathalie will fall in love with these shoes and bags that are 50% off or some comfy midi dresses. Fred will want some polos and tees for everyday and Irene is always up for some cute colorful summer dresses for work. Jui loves oversized tops and pants on sale and Richard always stocks on Zegna jeans and shirts when they're discounted. Anik loves to treat herself during sale season too, same for Isabelle who always adds few pairs of shoes and blouses when sale season arrives.
